Role Overview

The Sales Director – IGV Build Systems is responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of IGV's PrecisionBuilt 360° Kit of Parts and curated catalogue of building materials to developers, builders, and construction industry partners.

This is a senior commercial leadership role focused on positioning IGV Build Systems as a strategic supply and systems partner to the construction industry. The core mandate is to secure repeat project-based and portfolio-level supply agreements that improve build speed, reduce procurement friction, and increase cost predictability.

The Sales Director leads a consultative B2B sales process that demonstrates how IGV's precision-built hybrid components and material packages streamline construction workflows, reduce site inefficiencies, and enhance build quality.

In addition to core system and material sales, this role will identify and commercialise complementary services that support customer success and long-term adoption, including engineered plan integration, technical coordination, procurement support, and future platform extensions as IGV expands its offering.

This role owns revenue strategy, pipeline development, commercial structuring, forecasting discipline, and the build-out of a high-performance sales function aligned to IGV's manufacturing and fulfilment capacity.

Key Accountabilities

Revenue Ownership & Growth

  • Own and deliver revenue targets for the PrecisionBuilt Kit of Parts and building material catalogues
  • Develop and execute a scalable sales strategy aligned to manufacturing throughput and supply capability
  • Convert qualified opportunities into signed supply agreements and repeat volume contracts
  • Maintain disciplined forecasting, pipeline reporting, and margin visibility
  • Ensure sales commitments align with production schedules and delivery capacity

Construction Industry Sales & Solution Selling

  • Lead consultative sales engagements with developers, builders, and construction firms
  • Position IGV Build Systems as a non-competing supply partner that enhances delivery certainty
  • Demonstrate how hybrid component systems reduce build time, waste, and coordination risk
  • Sell across IGV's product range, including:

– PrecisionBuilt 360° Kit of Parts Product Range

– SmartCore

– Curated building material catalogues

– Associated technical and support services

  • Tailor system adoption to project scale while maintaining operational discipline

Pipeline Development & Market Expansion

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of repeat developer and builder clients
  • Identify portfolio-level adoption opportunities across multi-project developers
  • Develop strategic relationships across the construction ecosystem
  • Track regional demand for infill, missing-middle, multiplex, and single-family builds
  • Identify new market segments aligned with IGV production capacity

Commercial Structuring & Contract Execution

  • Lead the full sales lifecycle from first engagement to contract execution
  • Structure clear commercial agreements covering component supply, material packages, and services
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Manufacturing to scope deliverables accurately
  • Ensure pricing, margin integrity, and delivery sequencing are clearly defined
  • Provide clean commercial hand-off into Logistics and Customer Service

Sales Enablement & Market Feedback

  • Partner with Marketing to develop compelling, technically credible sales collateral
  • Translate construction complexity into clear economic value for developers
  • Ensure messaging reflects production capability and delivery realism
  • Provide structured market feedback to refine product offering and catalogue mix
  • Champion repeatable, system-based selling

Leadership & Sales Function Development

  • Build and lead a developer-focused B2B sales team as IGV scales
  • Establish KPIs covering pipeline quality, conversion rates, margin performance, and repeat adoption
  • Coach team members in consultative, multi-stakeholder selling
  • Build a disciplined sales culture aligned to operational capacity and execution reality

Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory

  • 5+ years' experience selling to property developers, builders, or construction firms
  • Proven success selling complex construction products, systems, or material packages
  • Strong understanding of construction workflows, procurement cycles, and project economics
  • Experience structuring and closing high-value commercial supply agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams

Preferred

  • Experience in selling engineered components or systems
  • Exposure to infill, multiplex, or missing-middle housing markets
  • Understanding of municipal regulator process
  • Experience in CSA A277 preferred but not mandatory
  • Established developer or builder relationships in BC or Western Canada
  • Experience scaling repeat B2B supply contracts

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range - $140,000 - $165,000 with OTE $230,000 - $250,000

Pay: $140,000.00-$165,000.00 per year
