Job Title
Analyst, Reference Data Management
- Closely work with and respond to Stakeholders.
- Become a SME (Subject Matter Expert) on RBC's Business Classification Elements.
- Respond to inquiries within standard SLA's.
- Perform reference data updates and onboard new Reference Data tables.
- Maintain owned pages, Reference Data and hyperlinked items on our internal site.
- In partnership with other team members, resolve data issues in a timely manner.
- Work as part of an agile team to achieve both BAU tasks and project goals related to business classification.
Must-have:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an operational or business services environment.
- Ability to drive efficiencies in an environment where accurate execution of processes and controls is crucial.
- Ability to analyze and resolve data related issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to provide guidance to Stakeholders at all levels around business classification navigation of content.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with RBC systems relating to technology and operational risk.
- Experience within an agile/scrum team.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel Skills
- Basic working knowledge of SQL.
- Experience working in a client facing role or in a credit, risk or operational capacity.
- Strong skills in decisionmaking, analysis of data and information.
Job Summary
The Reference Data Analyst, Data Management Operations is responsible for maintenance of reference data owned/managed by the CDO (Chief Data Office), focusing on operational excellence, data accuracy and managing various Stakeholder inquiries.
As the Analyst, you will participate in BAU, project based work and also be responsible for maintaining and creating documentation around processes and suggesting process improvements to continually streamline work.
