COVID FEAR
When news of the spread of the Omnicron Covid variant hit, a lot of people who had been going on about their business carefully and were fully vaccinated started to fear the worst again. But from everything I have seen, just carrying on with all the social distancing and masking that we all have been doing should be enough to get us through this phase. The vaccine that's in us now will most certainly lessen the severity of any infection and will likely not require hospitalization. The worst part of all of this is the mental anguish that all of us, who are trying to do the right thing for ourselves and our fellow humans, is leading many into a constant state of fear.
To quote the great Frank Herbert..."Fear is the mind killer." We cannot live in fear for long before it starts eating away at us and weakening our defenses. Be careful....not fearful. Get vaccinated. Get boosted. Keep your masks on and carry on.
