RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION ON STEROIDS

Whenever I hear anti-vaxxers voicing their opinions here on social media, they all sound like they have this god-given right to refuse to be vaccinated. In other words, they feel the have the right to contract, carry and infect other people with a greater degree of certainty than those who are vaccinated. At a certain point this goes beyond personal rights and freedoms all the way to what makes people good citizens and compassionate human beings. Good citizens, in this case, realize that the science behind the vaccines isn't completely new, but a variation on vaccines that have come before. So the 'untested' argument goes out the window. And that is really all these people hang their hats on. Which means that in addition to being ill-informed, they are extremely selfish. And they express this selfishness with a righteous indignation that is off the charts. The net result is that all this bullshit does is prolong this pandemic, and truth be told, it's really all on the anti-vaxxers
