The New Big Lie Donald Trump’s lie about the stolen election is still being harped upon, especially by him. He has to really be sounding like a one-trick pony these days to anyone who is not bored to death with it all. But lately, the Republicans are trying to foist an even bigger lie on the American people. This is the one where they accuse Biden of being responsible for the lack of partisanship in Washington. These Republicans have really learned a lot from hanging around Trump. Their strategy is that if you can publicly blame Biden for the lack of partisanship, and you say it enough and get enough gullible media people to broadcast it for you, then, what do you know... people will start to believe it. The simple fact is that members of Biden's own party have been giving him a hard time over trying too hard to work with the Republicans, who have very publicly announced, and repeated ad nauseum, that they will unilaterally oppose any Democratic legislation. Now they want everybody to believe that the Democrats are the ones to blame for all of this. You can’t have it both ways. Because all it does is make you look totally clueless by pushing in the opposite direction with a new big lie. Wonder what’s next on the Big Lie calendar.
