THE ROYAL SCAM

Capitalism is a rather ingenious idea. In simple terms, it
means the guy with the idea, uses that idea to get rich,
while a whole bunch of other people, (except for a few),
slave away at making that idea profitable and don't get rich.
In fact, nowadays they don't even make it into the middle
class.

The other ingenious thing about capitalism is that the

guy with the idea can raise all kinds of money to fund the
building of his idea and if it turns out that his idea sucks
and nobody wants to buy what he is selling, he can just
declare bankruptcy. keep all the money he has skimmed off
the investors and move onto the next idea.

All through the history of countries like America, guys have
been coming up with ideas, building them into businesses
that failed and basically ripping off their investors.

There's a thing called the 80/20 Rule That Governs Just
About Everything which clearly states that 80% (give or
take 5%) of all businesses will fail. So in essence, capitalism
is very much like playing craps or poker at a casino, with
only slightly better odds of winning.

There are lots of people who have these business ideas
and most of them, say 80%, are well intentioned. They have
passion and drive and want to have a business that is both
successful and one that everybody likes.

But sadly, it's the 20% that are simply out to lie and cheat
and swindle their way to a quick buck that cause all the
trouble. Today we call these people scam artists. These are
the ones who know just enough about a business to be
able to sell the idea to investors, but not enough to keep
the business going once it starts. Because they have no
interest in running the business at all, but just want to
make a quick buck off the investors and move as quickly as
possible into bankruptcy.

If this sounds like | am describing the Trump empire, well,
you can draw your own conclusions about that. All you
really have to do, though, is look at the track record of that
enterprise over the years and you may very well conclude
that it was one of the more elaborate in the scam universe.

In fact, the Trump empire was so good at scamming that
the owner actually managed to get right to the top of the
political heap in that country. And seven trillion dollars of
debt later, he was gone, and people are still trying to figure
out how much he made from bankrupting his presidency.
All because he figured out all the capitalist loopholes to
jump through. And because all the while he was just
running a scam.
