Being an Older Job Seeker
Currently taking a course through Nova Scotia Works, called O.W.L for those 45+ having a difficult time with the job market. We've discussed roadblocks in our job search (ie: ageism), interview styles, various assessments to see what careers would suit you best, and there's much more to come. I'm finding out a lot about myself, why some jobs weren't a good fit for me. This course is making me "think outside the box" in terms of how I approach looking for a career.
