Abusive? Me? Come on.

Abusive? Me? Come on.

About a month ago I was suspended from doing anything but looking on Facebook. You only find out why by accident. This is the accident. (below). People reported that my comments were somehow abusive. I have actually looked at the mechanics of this and you really don't have to explain why, when you report someone, you just check a box. So theoretically, anybody on Facebook could report anybody else and if there were enough people doing it, like an organized network of people who disagreed with you or thought you might be making too much sense and deemed that to be dangerous to whatever their cause might happen to be, then you can be taken out of commission and no longer be something they have to worry about.
This is, to me at least, a fundamental flaw in the Facebook way of things. Because now, I'm gonna be looking over my shoulder and will likely not do anything that is too controversial. Because whoever my enemies are out there, they know how to fuck me up. I like to think of myself as someone who tries to tell the truth. Never thought it would be deemed as abusive. But there you go.
