Out Of Control

Out Of Control

This was actually written before the plague. A little on the metaphorically prophetic side, I guess.

OUT OF CONTROL

Peace and war

Love and hate

Both ends against the middle
In the great debate

Worlds collide

And stars explode

But all you can do is bitch
About the weight of your load

Love is just a memory

The one that got away

Before you made another enemy
Before she had to pay

And now the wrong you've done
Is turning your heart to stone
Now there’s no place to hide
And no love to call your own

Out of control

Half a man, never whole

Your heart is in pieces

Now it’s workin’ on your soul
Pretty soon you'll be down there
In the bottom of a deep dark hole
Out of control...out of control

Out of control

You look for the truth

But all you see are lies

It’s so hard to hide behind
Your paper thin disguise
Images cascade

Stars fall out of the sky
Nothin’s gonna be the same

And you damn well know why ) A
