Opinion

It's one thing to be

a nation of haters.
But when all the hate
is for each other,
that’s just fucked up.

#2 No. Full-time gigs. But a few new clients and a fractional CMO position.

#1 You have proffered that opinion before and I am glad for you. But in other parts of the country the tensions between people based on their political beliefs are much more obvious and real. I get a lot of messages from people, mostly in the east and the south who reinforce this. You're a marketer and you know one of the first rules of marketing is that not everybody is in your target audience. I'm writing for a certain audience. What you're getting is the spillover that posting here provides. A lot of people appreciate what I am doing because they are, quite literally, afraid to do it themselves. I believe you're fortunate to live in a part of America that's relatively calm. But it ain't that way everywhere. PS: I hear you got a full time gig. Congrats. I've also noticed that Javier is retooling BeBee. to make it more business friendly. So far all I have seen is a colour change to their background.

Jim, you’ve allowed politics to warp your your thought patterns. The political headlines from the media do not show the real world. Most people I know could give 2 shits about politics. They’re too busy living in the real world where people don’t hate each other, go to work together, go to school together, and are social together. Politics is way overrated. My life changes very little based on who the president is or is not.
