THE CANADIAN REPORT Thursday (Mar3l) Well the weather has finally boken up here in the south of Ontarios, and we're getting ourselves a bright, warm, sunny day. | like these days because | can get out and walk up and down my deck using my cane and sometimes nothing at all. The walking is not just good for my legs and burning a few calories, it’s also good for my head and | don't know about you guy but | do a lot of my best think- ing when | am moving around. Down further south in the home of the brave etc. they say the wheels of justice turn slowly. But in the case of framin’ indictments against elTrumpo, it feels excruciatingly so. But the other day | did hear a judge opine that there was more than enough evidence to charge him as part of a rather large group that orchestrated the January 6 riots. For some reason, the Trumpster (rhymes with Dumpster) doesn't appear to be all that worried. At the same time he's once again reaching out to his Moscow Master asking for dirt on the Bidens. But Putin has a whole lot more on his plate than doing a favour for an slug who couldn't get himself re-elected despite tons of his help. | can imagine that guys like Aaron Sorkin are taking copi- ous notes for their rendition of an HBO series about this whole last half decade. But it's more likely to be a Stephen King project in the end. But make no mistake, despite all the tempests in all the teapots all around America, the country is recovering from the Trump era. Job numbers are way up. The rich will hopefully start paying their fair share of taxes, the market is strong, the deficit is being attacked, and the majority of people, | believe, now understand that Democrats are not communists or socialists, but responsible managers of both the public trust and the public coffers. The more people who wake up to that reality, the better it will be for everybody in that country. But, hey ,it's American and there will always be nutbars.
