Remembrance Day
MY REMEMBRANCE DAY: On November 11, we all take some time to remember those who have served this country in time of war and peace. I remember my dad, Pete Murray, who passed away more than 10 years ago. My dad was a navigator in the RAF during WWII and flew Lancaster Bombers over Germany. He did about 45 raids and lived to talk about it, although he never did much talking about the raids themselves. Mostly about air force life in England at that time. He has been a hero in my eyes for most of my life. I'm sure every one of you has their own hero to remember today. I salute everyone in uniform. It is because of their selfless efforts that many of us have never had to go to war and experience that particular brand of hell first hand.
