This was taken near our house on Hannaford Street in an area known as the upper beaches.This was a winter when we got snowed on like crazy and poor Lucy the dog was freaked out because her field of vision, walking down sidewalks which were nothing more than furrows in three foot drifts, was quite limited. She kept looking back at me wondering where the hell we were. Fortunately we didn’t have a lot of snow to shovel with this house. Just a parking pad and a bit of sidewalk. I helped out our neighbour Barry, because he was on the corner and has long stretch of sidewalk to deal with. The snow was a real pain in the ass. But it was, in places, quite beautiful.
