The Musk Report Volume 2

The Musk Report Volume 2

~The Musk Report-

Serutinizing the Inscrutable

“We've seen Elon Musk build a car business
that's better for the planet, a (space travel)
business that's focused in creating new
possibilities around the universe
Is it impossible that he won't try and
create a healthier public conversation?”

Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO
Anti-Defamation League

So that's the real question a lot of people are asking.

For his part, Mr. Musk appears to be taking a kind of
everyman position here, indicating that he plans to be
upsetting both the far left and the far right equally.

I have no idea what exactly that means, but I'm hoping
part of it means that the level of moderation that Twitter
already imposes on extreme views and everyday hate-
speak will be respected

It sounds like he’s really just trying to encourage an
more civilized conversation between people and that
would suit a lot of us just fine

A big part of this is that those who look at the world
differently than you do, aren't automatically wrong.

There was a time when people of different political
persuasions were actually able to sit down and have
a civilized conversation. And a lot of times, even find
common ground.

Wouldn't it be great if Twitter could become a place
where honest, civilized conversation was the norm and
not the rare exception?
