Musk Report Vol 4

Musk Report Vol 4

~The Mugk Eeport-

Scrutinizing the Inscrutable

Oo Elon Musk ©

For Twitter to deserve public trust, it
must be politically neutral, which
effectively means upsetting the far
right and the far left equally

QO Mehdi Hasan ©

Put aside the simplistic nature of
this claim for a moment & focus on
the fact that the far right in America
is a guy banned from Twitter for
inciting violence, and backed by
Nazis & QAnon, while the far left is
an old guy from Vermont who wants
everyone to have free healthcare

So here's some of Musk’s left versus right sentiment
regarding Twitter, and a pretty slick response from an
obviously intelligent observer.

This is hardly a justification for letting people like
Donald Trump and all the other bad actors back on
the site. But it really sounds like that’s what he wants
to do.

So once again | find myself wondering, just how all
this will encourage a healthy conversation. | also
wonder what it will do to the number of people
who use Twitter and are happy about all the hate-
speak that has been banned over the last year.

The more | look at this and read about it, the more

| start to think that maybe Musk has some other
motive for coughing up 44 billion on a business that
isn't making money from advertising and is just barely
in the top 10 when it comes to the number of users it
has. Hopefully we'll find out soon.

A Sure Sign Of Spring

Jim Murray · Went outside this morning to do my walking and noticed that this was on my mailbox. These birds must have worked all night on this. Hope they got paid overtime. We think they're Robins. I carefully moved the nest to another location.
