CPC Review For Saturday October 16

CHAOS WALKING (2 SPUDS) (PRIME) WIKI BLURB: Chaos Walking is a 2021 American dystopian action film directed by Doug Liman from a screenplay by Patrick Ness and Christo- pher Ford. It is based on Ness’s science fiction trilogy Chaos Walking, It stars Daisy Ridley, Tom Holland and Mads Mikkelsen. MY BLURB: This is a pretty high quality pro- duction and a solid action pic directed by Doug Liman who is a great action director. The story it- self raised a couple of questions that never really got resolved, or maybe they did and | missed it. But overall it is a gritty future fiction piece about the colonization of other worlds. The best things in this film are the performances by all the leads, especially Mads Mikklesen, who is becom- ing the new Liam Neeson, as Mr Neesen gets too old for the hard core action genre. This film did not do well in theatres, but what film does these days? Maybe James Bond. It's a very high quality production and a good solid action thriller. The title is a little odd and that may have had something to do with its lack of success.
