A beBee Organic Promotion – Part 1 & 2
Note: 5 New Memes added today Thursday August 11, 2016
As someone who has been active on both sides of the digital divide in marketing, the main thing I have learned is that it’s foolish to think that new school tactics have somehow replaced the more traditional methodologies.
In point of fact, traditional style advertising and direct marketing are still very much at the top of the heap when it comes to attracting consumers. Same is true in business to business marketing.
There is a lot to be said for SEO and other means of targeting, but if you’re not prepared to send a quality message once you have identified that target…ie something simple, not insulting to the intelligence and persuasive, you might as well just stay home.
Every since I have arrived at beBee, I have been doing things to help promote it. Not just because this is what I know how to do, but because I have a vested interest in helping beBee grow strong and stay as true as possible to its ideals. It’s my blogging home and I want as large an audience as I can get.
To that end I have come up with a couple more ideas that I think will further the cause. And these are both things that you can easily help me (and beBee) with.
This Is Part One. The Promotional Meme.
I have had a lot of success over the years with memes. People seem to like them. They respond to them. And best of all, because they are focused on making a single point each time out the the gate, they tend to be quite effective.
I have already created a series of personal memes which I call the Daily Buzz. This is sort of the same thing. The difference is that these are all available below for you to download and re-post as your own. And this post is evidence of my giving permission to do that.
Who Are We Talking To?
The best target audience for beBee is people who are already committed to building an online brand through social media. For those people, beBee has the advantage of being either a business media site or a social media site…or both.
There is a huge fundamental appeal to that proposition to anyone actively engaged in social or business media. It’s really the core of beBee’s USP or Unique Selling Proposition.
But no matter how powerful a USP might be, it still needs reach and frequency to get its message out there.
The following memes are now available for re-posting. It doesn’t take long to do and if you like them, I encourage you to spread them around liberally throughout your networks on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, or wherever else you have established a presence.
You can also help by forwarding this post to people in your beBee network and encouraging them to repost the memes too.
I will be adding to this list of memes over time, so please bookmark this post and check back for new memes, maybe once a week or so.
Awareness Is Job One
BeBee is working to establish itself in the North American market In a number of different ways.
But the thing that these efforts need to all have in common is that they are reaching out into other social and business media sites.
If you’re reading this, you already know that beBee is a pretty amazing place and that it’s genuinely committed to organic growth. These memes may just be little things. But a very smart organic marketer once told me that organic marketing is nothing more than a large collection of little things that eventually end up making a big difference.
This is your site. This is a no-sweat opportunity to participate in its organic growth. Thanks in advance for your help.
On Wednesday I will post Part 2.
