Nothing brings me joy like being able to cook a nice meal and share it with others. Thanks to beBee.com, I have met some wonderful local business people I would otherwise have never met.聽 It's the Christmas season, and聽my birthday, so I invited some of my favourite bees to come to my house today for a little Christmas lunch. Sadly,聽Graham馃悵 Edwards聽and聽Kevin Pashuk聽could not make it. You missed a good time, fellas.

So what does this gathering opportunity afford us?聽

Well, we are all self employed and we work alone, primarily, so having the opportunity to meet and discuss our business life and other things helps keep us sane. We learn from each other, we laugh, share stories and simply enjoy the company of each other.聽

Sorry Ren\u00e9e \ud83d\udc1d Cormier. Just noticed this post. What a great afternoon, I even got to spend a whole hour realizing how much I don't miss Toronto. And yes, that was a bad-ass spread you put on, and the bird show in the basement was pure Broadway.

Nice shot, Ren\u00e9e \ud83d\udc1d Cormier, but I would have suggested assigning one of the two grizzled old guys to hold the camera, while you appeared in the photo. I am pleased, though, to see how happy they look. And I am sure that has to do with being in congenial company. My best to all for the holidays and the coming New Year.
