BL&FN. (Bullshit, Lies & Fake News). The American Tragedy

One of the things I have noticed these days is that the media, and by the media I mean just about everywhere you get your information, is completely engaged in a huge game of Trivial Pursuit.
They keep attacking Donald Trump, trying to find some way to bring him down. And Lord knows he provides them with an endless stream of bullshit, lies and fake news.
Then they report on it and he calls them out on it blaming them for generating all the BL&FN.
And they never fucking figure it out. They are like a monkey with a drum. No matter how hard the monkey hits the drum, it will always just be this one note, over and over and over again.
There was a time, in the days before all the BL&FN when the media was trusted to report the news. When the people giving you the news were respected and in some cases even revered.

The Big Con

But that was then and this is now. Whatever dignity the media had has been stripped away by a person and a movement whose main objective was to bring them down by having them look like the source of all the BL&FN.
This, in turn, would create confusion among an already semi-brain dead audience and cause them to turn to the administration as the only source of credible information.
It’s right out of the Fascist Handbook. And if you were to get Trump in a room and jack him up with a good dose of Pentothal (aka truth serum), he would admit to you that it was much easier to pull off than he ever thought it would be.
The reason for this is that the people who own the major media corporations are part of the 1% who benefit from everything that the current administration is trying to put in place.
The doofuses who work for them (because there are no Walter Cronkites or Edward R Murrows anymore), are told what to follow and what do to with whatever they uncover.
In short, they are told to follow the asshole that Trump has made himself out to be.

Blowing Smoke Up Everybody’s Kilt

But Trump is merely the smoke that obscures the screen and behind the screen are other assholes hell bent on destroying whatever you call America today. The Melting Pot. The Great Experiment. The Shining Example of Democracy.
And guess what? Almost everybody is playing along. The so-called President creates the persona of a completely insane, sexist, racist, sociopathic social and religious bigot, and gives the media doofuses tons of meaty BL&FN to consume.
But behind the screen, the real crazies are working...creating legislation that they will force the Congress to pass that will turn the United States into another Soviet Union.
The only difference and the real sadness here is that there are too many people in America who keep on believing that Trump is their lord and savior. And the reason they keep on believing all this BL&FN is because they are too dumb, ignorant and politically uneducated to really understand what’s going on here.

Reality Bites

It would be very easy to assume that this little rant is nothing more and conjecture. But it’s actually not. While Trump has been out actively distracting the media and all the people who rely on it for their news, his administration has assembled more than 2000 bills that they are slowing and systematically putting before congress.
And when all these laws are passed, living in Russia under Putin or China under their Communist regime is something that will be a source of extreme jealousy among to about 99% of all Americans.
And all the promises Trump made, which are systematically being broken, will mean nothing. The ‘have and have not’ culture will be a fait accomplis.
People who are sick will die because they won’t be able to afford health care. The water supply to more than 200 American cities will be completely poisoned by de-regulation that will allow industrial waste dumping into rivers. Climate change will create more super storms and massive property damage, most of which will be uninsured. Poverty will soar. And the job market will become completely biased toward the employers, which means wages will plummet. International companies will start to relocate to countries where their people can come and go freely and more jobs will go with them. The Mexican border wall…what a fucking joke, will never get built, but Trump will make hundreds of millions from it all the same.
The future of America does not look very bright at all. And I really wish that everything I have just written could be considered BL&FN, but it can’t.
There will be a lot of people who disagree with me here and that’s your right. Time, as the saying goes, will tell.
My most sincere wish is that someday I will have to eat these words.
But right now, I don’t feel like I ever will.
