Boasters and Gossipers

Braggarts are boring people. And more than wasting others' time, I presume they spoil others’ peace of mind with their nasty remarks and nuisance attitude.

Imagine a person devoid of humility and brimming with pride. Would such a person practice genuine generosity or behave in refined ways? Little chances or not at all. In their own ways, they think that they run the whole show or spearhead a team to score success.

What it means to talk endlessly without any concise conclusion. It means just fidgeting. Or blabbering nonsensical talks. Some are shrewd newsmongers, who scantily leak rumors while gossiping and extract wads of information from others.

At workplaces, we come across all sorts of people. And the great dissension in workplace culture comes from boasters and gossipers. That’s true because the former speak in arrogance and the latter spread lies and take pleasure in backbiting. Isn’t that annoying when a boaster begins speaking in self-praise and belittles others as if they are doing nothing? It’s sickening when we hear from a boaster – I have done this and that and things kept me so busy, without me nothing is easier and no one can perform like the way I do, etc.

Give worth to a boaster, you certainly hear more stuff. So better brush off a boaster and busy yourself in some work. And then, gossipers are just posers who want to surprise others or seek some sort of attention from others. Nothing more than that. Or say they are lethargic time-wasters with their idle talks.

Be who you are and do what you are supposed to do. Sometimes, a single person cannot correct a distorted culture. But, with good character and conversations one can influence others. Isn’t that a good idea to bring in changes?

Go on with your own good ways. One step ahead, sometimes a little pause or steps backward, and then a leap forward with all strength and spirits.

Sometimes back, in an inspirational video, I heard from a motivational speaker that a person’s value is all that make sense. So, with our character and competencies we can mold our personalities, stay atop in dignity and influence others in honest ways. What others do should not be our concern, but how best we can perform is all that matters.

It is silliness to sadden yourself if someone gives no respect to you. May be the other person bears partisan perspectives and thinks about others in sickening ways. So, ignore a person who is moron in his own malady.

Be cheery and you live a healthier life. Or say you will have no burdening breakdowns in life.

Instead of blaming others for no reason, it is better to be yourself as an exemplary person. We observe our surroundings, and we forget ourselves. Sometimes, we chatter a lot with less contemplation. More than cheering up someone, we show haste in counseling. Isn’t this stupidity when a person behaves in such stranger ways?

Sometimes it’s hard to understand human equation. Or say we get perplexed because little do we understand human psychology. Perhaps, to some extent, when we are aware of the workings of human behavior and its nuances, it becomes easier to interact with people in meaningful manners. That’s why human character counts, and without courtesies we become ruthless in all ways.

In case, you are in a troubled situation and ask someone for possible solutions, then you will be deserted. To counsel someone in exigency is, after all, both a courtesy and compassion. But, we may come across people who are least bothered about others’ pain because they dislike to help others. On the contrary, they behave like gleeful gossipers to spread others’ tragedies or rubbish rumors. Oftentimes, It’s just like that. Nowadays, we live the way we want to live.
