On any new platform, it can take a while to figure things out as a newbie, these are some things that I've found helpful to know as I have learned my way around the platform.

Who's Who

Unlike other platforms, they are highly visible. You will see them buzzing around and supporting your buzzes and honey here and on other social media platforms.

Terminology

This site uses a lot of terms that are relevant to bee hives.

• Bees: Members
• Hives: Groups
• Honey: Blog posts
• Buzzes: Status updates
• Relevant: Similar to like on other platforms
• Brand Ambassadors: I don't know their job description but they are members and they are very helpful. They make you feel welcome, answer your questions, support your efforts here and when you share content about beBee on other platforms. They'll tweet your content, share it on LinkedIn, and comment on your buzzes and honey.

Getting Started

Home Icon: Access the home page by clicking on the Home icon. Here you'll find the latest and most active buzzes and honey. Your hives are on the left panel.

Profile Link: To the right of Home, at the top of the page, you'll find the Profile link. On the large right panel, you will customize and view the profile information that will be displayed to other bees.

Public Tab (Black)

• View Blog: Through this very important link, you can quickly access all the honey you have produced. It's on the left panel, right under your name, title, # of followers, and profile URL (It took me a few days to find it.)

• Contact Information
• Personal Data

Hives

• All Hives
• My hives (the hives you have joined)
  
• Hives I manage (includes the hives you have started and as well as those you have agreed to help manage)
• Hives of contacts (this filter is a great way to discover new hives)

• Buzzes: Discussions or posts
• Bees: A list of other bees in the hive
• Jobs
