Don't Waste Your Next Vote On Racists, Sexists Or Any Other Lowlife Types

See this flag? It’s the flag of Canada, which is one of the best countries in the world. It’s a country that understands that the sum total of what it is is all about the people who come here and help build it. People like my grandfathers, one who came from Italy and the other who came from Scotland. They worked hard, built a good life for themselves and helped the country grow.

Hardly anybody gave a shit where they were from because back then almost everybody was from somewhere else.

A lot of countries seem to have conveniently forgotten that almost every country in the new world was really just a collection of immigrants from other places. I watch the news in my country and in the US and see all these asshole white guys who have been conned into believing that being white is some sort of special shit. when the truth is that the only race that’s superior is the human race. And that’s only for the good fortune of a few extra chromosomes.

There are political parties, like the Conservatives in my country and the Republicans in the US, who have this really fucked up attitude towards immigration. These are the people who have forgotten how countries are built.

So when it comes time to vote in your next election, just make sure you understand how each candidate feels about things like immigration, gay rights, civil rights and human rights. Because the people you want in power are those who respect everybody’s right to be just who they are.

And that will make your country’s flag really means what it’s supposed to mean.
