My beBee Bee-Bliography – Tips, Suggestions and Reflections On Beeing All That You Can Bee

This post was originally published about 6 weeks ago. Since then I have been appointed a beBee Brand Ambassador and have added a number of new beBee posts to my collection. I have updated all the links here for anybody who is interested.
One of the cool things about beBee is that there seems to be no shortage of puns that one can employ using the word ‘bee’. I’m not sure if the founders actually realized this before they started beBee. But I have to assume they know it now.
As you can see I have have managed to cram 4 of them into the title of this Post itself. This is more a testament to the plentiful number of puns that exist as opposed to any real pun-construction skills that I might have.
Be that as It may, as an op/ed writer and professional marketer I am finding the experience on beBee quite refreshing as are, evidently, a substantial number of the people who have migrated to beBee from the Lumpy Kingdom of The Mighty Hamsters aka LinkedIn.
Many of us still post on and visit LinkedIn occasionally and I can’t speak for everyone, but from my perspective, it appears that things have gone quite stagnant over there.
I personally believe it’s suffering from a genuine lack of participation and cohesion, and my theory is that a good number of the formerly most active people on LI, are now among the most active here on beBee.

It is extremely difficult to sustain any sort of personal branding program on a site that you know has actually managed to sabotage itself to the extent that LinkedIn, unfortunately, has.
This is why I have created a number of posts here on beBee outlining what I consider to be major advantages that beBee has over LinkedIn. I’ve listed all these posts below and you can feel free to browse them whenever.
I have also, in other posts, outlined a number of the things I do to help promote beBee on other social and business media sites.
For many of us, beBee represented a huge step forward, after the experience we had on LinkedIn during most of 2015.
I personally feel a rather large debt of gratitude to beBee, and pretty much from my arrival here, felt the need to give something back.
So I started writing about beBee, and posting those pieces everywhere I have a following of some magnitude, including LinkedIn.
If you feel the same sense of gratitude to beBee, then please check out some of the posts below, especially those in the BeBee Tips section. Because these are things we can all do to help beBee grow its user base.
They don’t require a ton of effort and doing even a few of them will make you feel pretty good. And who knows, it may just be the nudge that people in your network need to give beBee a shot.
beBee is committed to organic growth and part of that entails keeping the playing field level so everyone has an opportunity to grow their networks right along with the site.
Think of these beBee promotional gestures as the place where gratitude and enlightened self-interest intersect.
Additionally, forwarding this post to the hives that you generally participate in would also be a substantial contribution to the beBee growth initiative.
Have a good day…and let’s keep the buzz going.

Can't disagree with that assessment Phil Friedman. Unfortunately, and we have had this discussion, this is something that requires a great deal of diligence in order to control. According to my 80/20 Differential, this may only occur 20% of the time. I'd like to be more optimistic, but right now all I can be is hopeful.

#6 - OK. Perhaps I was a little too hasty with my drivel comment. It really was a more of a post Labour Day rant that I just had to get out. Perhaps I should take a course in self-marketing. Do you guys know of anyone? :) (Back to my satirical self now, thank you)

Kevin Pashuk What's with the drivel thing? Beezers don't produce drivel. They are wise beyond their years and their work is at the vanguard of blogging activity here in Land of The Glorious Hives. Or not.
