My Heart Screamed, I Refused To Listen. Fear Grabbed Me By The Hand And Led Me Away.
What happens when you need to make big, life-impacting decisions? Does fear take over? Do the voices in your head get loud and urge you to avoid taking risks? Your mind tries desperately to con you into taking the easy way out. Does this sound familiar?
How can we control our fears?
Trust yourself . Our friends and families want the best for us. They want us to be happy, but Only You know what’s best for You . Our friends might think they know the answers based on their unique experiences, and our families might advise us based on their need to protect us.
Understand that there are no “wrong” decisions.
It really takes the pressure off if you understand that every experience you have, whether you characterize it as “good” or “bad,” has a purpose. Yes, some choices may lead to more painful lessons than others, but living life in the fear of living your life, is no way to live. I truly believe that everything that we do and everyone that we meet is put in our path for a purpose. We need to be willing to pay attention to the lessons we learn, trust our positive instincts and not be afraid to take risks.
Prayer
If you are a person of faith, whatever that means to you, use that faith to give you strength and courage. Here is an example of a Christian quote that that I use. It may give you strength when facing your fears.
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones” (Proverbs 3:5-8).
Awaken your potential and embrace bigger possibilities. Remember, we all possess the inherent trait of everlasting courage which can guide you through most anything. You already have everything you need to be amazing.iн4c
