Pierce Hawthorne was a Toastmaster
This week since we are only meeting on the Monday, I thought it would be fun to inject some humour into the theme. Not because Pierce Hawthorne used to be a character on the show "Community" but that firstly Pierce Hawthorne's character was a toastmaster and it is about an older guy who is still a student at a local community college. This has more to do with the acquired taste I have for self-deprecating humour from being born in England.
The underlying message is that even if we will still be using serious themes, we need to inject fun into the club and have the best of both worlds. I will be back to the Monday group in three weeks after my agile methodologies course has finished, so I am looking forward to getting involved. Community is centered around a sitcom based on a community college called Greendale Community College.
