secrets awakened by an autumn breeze
their lullaby once a safe haven

Thank you, Lada! I enjoy experimenting with the various forms of poetry because of the challenge. The Etheree should have rhythm, meaning, imagery, and sometimes an underlying second meaning. So, it is more than just counting syllables, it is writing a meaningful piece, which is the biggest challenge.
This Etheree, Secrets, was entered and selected as the poem of the month by a fellow blogger that hosts poetry challenges.
I just submitted an Etheree to Spillwords Press for their Halloween-themed challenge, and await their decision.

I learned something new, Franci. :) Etheree poetry is unrhymed, but I hear the rhythm in it. Although I'm not a poetry person, I like it.

Interesting choice to convey autumn thoughts,
Hard to convey such enormity,
Syllables dropped where once were lots,
Dreaded nonconformity,
Can‘t see an end at all,
Where an I going?
Autumn leaves fall,
It’s snowing,
Winter?
Shit!

That was bloody hard work, Franci. Think I’ll stick to rhyming couplets and limericks.
