It seems Jim Murray and I were on the same wavelength when we wrote our poems. Jim's poem is titled THE NEXT HEATWAVE. I wrote my poem this afternoon before I saw his.

Even if the effects of alcohol can be adverse, I see this doesn't deter you from the art of verse, following Ken's grea advice, redeeming seriousness's vice, I can only hope we can join you for a cup too, for otherwise this thread may be blue. Cheers!

Franci, we are on the same wavelength here. Indeed, Mother Earth is getting tired of humans. I'm afraid that we'll get featured on the list of the species threatened with extinction in the near future. :(
