Superhero For The Week Of December 2, 2019 - Vladimir Putin

Anyone who follows politics, regardless of how they feel about Communism, has got to carry around a modicum of respect, however grudging, for Vladimir Putin.

He has, with the help of a pretty good team of hackers and propagandists, managed to corrupt the election processes of, arguably, the most powerful nation on earth at the moment.

He has also managed to charm and bedazzle the useful idiot that ended up becoming president of the US, to the point where that idiot will do nothing to seriously harm Russian interests or interfere with Russian imperialism.

The reason that he has been able to pull this all off is because Vladimir Putin is very smart, very corrupt and probably the most psychotic despot on the planet, although you could never really tell from looking at him.

Putin knows he can’t get anything done if the US is peppering him with sanctions and other bullshit, but he can get a hell of a lot done if they aren’t. So he has, and nobody really knows exactly how, managed to gain control of his useful idiot, probably by threatening to reveal all the money laundering the idiot’s companies do for Russian oligarchs, including Putin himself.

Putin is a spook by trade, having come up through the ranks of the KGB and into Russian politics through just about every devious machination you can imagine.

He has been President of Russia since 2009, and what makes him so dangerous to the free world is that he is playing the long game of de-stablilization along with the short game of aggressive armed action in measured bits and pieces. He will never bite of more than he can chew, and that makes him a formidable adversary.

And make no mistake, because as a spook, and a very good one, he knows how to cover all his bases and compensate for any eventuality. Which means, that like it or not, he has a very good chance of achieving his goals of destabilizing as many democracies as he wishes especially in the current state of chaos in the world that his useful idiot has helped create.

In Russia, Putin is both feared and admired. And although he has actually done very little to help the Russian people, the oligarchies he has allowed to thrive and the pieces of all that action that he gets, have made him one of the richest individuals in the world.

But if you judge him by his actions, it doesn’t seem that he cares too much about the money so much as the power and influence it buys him.

The European Union, which he is also working hard to destabilize is quite concerned about him, especially if he can take over the Ukraine and re-patriate the ‘Stan’ countries to the north.

And with the US fighting left against right in a hateful civil war of words, and their useful idiot president apparently well under his control, he can do pretty much whatever he wants with relatively little interference.

You don’t have to like it. But if you’re honest with yourself and look at it objectively, you have to admire this dude. He’s smart, dangerous, manipulative and driven. A real bad-ass motherfucker if there ever was one.
