The Honey Golden Age

I call this this "infected mind" industrial age thinking. Since we live in the 21st Century, we really do need to stop treating ideas as a disease to spread. We need to let ideas transform and NOT be prejudiced that it is a drone idea or a worker idea or a queen idea.  Our society needs its drone thinkers, its worker thinkers and its queen thinkers - and the intelligence that binds them and draws out the intelligence of that is what is critical.  WHY? 

Because HONEY is the INTELLIGENCE

We need to value metamorphosis of ideas in all their transformations, and spreading ideas is not thinking, it is infection. We are so consumed by how ideas spread that the reality of this spreading is still an idea virus. http://www.sethgodin.com/ideavirus/

That is the very reality that is holding humanity back - especially in an age of abundant information aided not interrupted by networked technology.

Instead the true opportunity of metamorphosis is to discover more than just any golden age, we need to discover a HONEY GOLDEN AGE - we need to know the bees we are together to create that - and that means we need a greater respect for each TYPE of idea and not just how we are going to spread those ideas. Humanity is a master marketer at the spreading of ideas but continues to be very poor at being golden. The hive is not a mind or an idea, it is a honey golden age - a renaissance home where meaning should matter more to young people. The metamorphosis here is renaissance - societies that learn to think, for an idea is only a product of that.  We are naturally inclined to want the hive to be an idea or a mind, yet I see this

The HIVE is a RENAISSANCE

Tonight there is Toronto Raptors playing the Cavs in Game 5.  Sports is an idea virus.  I have already challenged the students in my own club by rooting for the Cavs.  I do not particularly care who wins the NBA finals.  There is nothing renaissance about the pied piper quality of billion dollar sports franchises.  Yes it is fun, but it is the wrong kind of F.  If we took our life as seriously as we do a sports industry that handsomely pays itself for our attention to it, what a life that would be .   For sure being in a sports bar is a good form of bonding but the guy at the end of the table is rooting against the natives and not cheering for his "home team".

Does it matter if the Cav's are breaking the hearts of Toronto fans right now after two games that gave them much hope.  Why do we put our hopes and expectations in a sports team, why do we associate our hive with these tribal needs? 

The hive is not tribal, it is the worker thinker in harmony with the drone thinker in harmony with the queen thinker. A different view of metamorphosis is provided by good friend Ali Anani - we generate these ideas because are both thinkers. Thinking is not an idea we catch, it is an idea that evolves because WE do. I generated these thoughts as my fellow club members most probably are supporting their team.  Will they actually support my team?  This is the evolution :
