The Top 10 Things I Have To Do Today 'Cause It's Saturday
It's Saturday here in the lovely little city of St Catharines. The rain, which fell over the last 30 hours or so has stopped. The sun is on its way out and promising to warm things up to at least 10˙ C.
We have just had almost the entire first floor of our house remodeled so I have pretty much a full day of stuff to do to put it all back together, in addition to some of the regular Saturday things we have to do.
1. Have breakfast (poached eggs, toast and coffee) (In progress)
2. Do some reading for my Digital Sunday News Column. (On climate change) (Also in progress)
3. Do some laundry and ironing, (I'm in charge of that and have been for years) while watching the ongoing CNN situation comedy that is the Trump presidency.
4. Figure out what we need at the supermarket and go get it on my bike. (It's always good to have a purpose in mind for a bike ride).
5. Talk my wife out of going to the Home and Garden Show in Niagara Falls. (looks boring)
6. Head out to the Pen Centre to return a set of drapes that don't work in the bathroom and a rather strange looking floor lamp that doesn't work in the living room. Also find a new chrome towel rack for the bathroom to replace the one that has mysteriously disappeared.
7. Figure out dinner, bearing in mind that the Final Four basketball games starts at 6:05 (Don't worry, my wife has a ton of figure skating from Helskini to watch).
8. Hit Costco on the way back to pick up a chicken and some other stuff. (There's always other stuff you need at Costco)
9. Touch up the walls in the bathroom, (where I fucked up a few things while attempting to hang some pictures and put up some shelving...no big deal)
10. Final Four Basketball. Gonzaga V South Carolina then Oregon V North Carolina.
That's my day in a nutshell. Looks like it's gonna be a good one. Hope your Saturday is the same.

Jim, i was hoping for an all Northwest Final but not to be. You can bet a lot of folks out here in the upper left corner will be rooting for Spike and the boys.

Sorry about the Ducks Jerry Fletcher. That was a squeaker. But my Bullldogs are going to the show on Monday. They were my #1 pick at the beginning of the tournament, Ducks were my #4 behind NC and UCLA.

Thanks . Actually we did go to the home show and bought a compact steamer for our floors, we have a lot of tile and laminate flooring and this unit will be perfect for that. We saw a couple of other things we could use too,. but are gonna wait to see how much of our budget we have left after we do redo the basement.
