There is more than one right answer

There is more than one right answer

I don't know about you but I get very suspicious of those who tell me there is one right way to do something. When I was younger I might have been more accepting of the idea of one right path. In fact, I at one time was convinced I had the right answer to issues around my work. Lucky for me I grew into a position where I was lucky enough to implement my "right plan". I was also very lucky to have people around me who agreed with me that the path was right, but there were also many parallel paths that worked and all of the paths took as ultimately to the same end. I also was able to listen and grew because of that experience.

There's always more than one right answer, path, possibility, nuance, or flavor.  Be prepared to explore all of the paths laid out in front of you, so you can enjoy the nuance and flavor of each that life presents to you. If you focus on one path only then you miss out on all the other adventures that await.

Insisting on details always limits you, I know this from experience, and I now look at the end result and focus on the big picture. Details are important, but the exact details may have to change so we can adjust, and enjoy the ride. Life is good.

So I will have some more Purple Moonbeam Chocolate, please.

So true, Royce. Whatsmore, wars have been fought over who or what is 'right'. Unfortunately, very few get the message that war only determines who is 'left'.

I love the idea of creating a design because it forces you to make real the image in your mind, and it will be great fun to see the differences in our thoughts.

I just thought perhaps a problem to solve. How to make/design/ brand Purple Moonbeam Chocolate, or would that shatter your and your grandson's mind images. I'd bet you both envisage something different.

I don't know about that... Personally I find Green Moonbeam Chocolate more right ☺

When teaching problem solving to young children I used this statement to help build confidence to try and solve a given problem. There are no wrong answers just some that are better than others. Let's see if between us when can find the best one.
