This Book Should be 'Top of Mind' for You...

Just finished reading this book by Melissa Hughes, and truly love her ability to take some key brain research and apply it in understandable explanations and anecdotes. She has certainly followed the wisdom in a quote attributed to Einstein himself “Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler.”

While she states that the book 'will not make you a neuroscientist', it gives an overview of the integral role the brain plays in our response to pleasure, stress and anxiety. She clearly points out the importance of 'training your brain', similar to working out your body, to strengthen the parts of your brain that help you become more mindful (no pun intended) and develop a more positive outlook on life.

Check out the book on Amazon here!

Thanks for the tip, Kev ..... as long as I don't have to read it faster than the speed of light (or the speed of light squared). 🤣
