Why America Should Be Seriously Considering One Of These Women For President

By the time the US election rolls around, Trump will have fucked up the international trade economy and US foreign policy so badly that no one in their right mind would vote for him.

Of course that doesn’t mean it will be easy to beat him, because there are a record number of crazies in America these days so it still may be close.

But from what I have seen, the only Democratic candidates really capable of running the country and repairing a lot of the Trump damage are Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris. (Probably in that order)

What makes either one of them a great choice? Here are a few things:

1. They are women and women work together much better than men do. That’s a proven fact you can see in virtually any workplace.

2. They are both tough and experienced and understand how government works and what it needs to do work better.

3. They are not too old to do the job well, unlike the current frontrunners like Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden.

4. They both have thought through what the country needs and have well-developed plans to help the country achieve it.

5. They are not Hillary Clinton and so they don’t have all that past baggage.

6. They are strong women and will make much better role models for young people than anyone in power these days.

7. They understand grass roots politics and will inspire more women to get involved in politics

on every level.

8. They will be much more able to work with America’s trading partners, because they will be more cooperative, less adversarial and won’t always be bitching about how the country is getting fucked over by everyone…especially when it’s not true.

9. They will remove the tariffs and negotiate trade deals in good faith which will help reveres a lot of the negative trending we’re seeing under Trump.

10. They will restore America’s credibility around the world, which Trump has completely destroyed, and allow the country to assume a leadership role in fighting climate change, which is the most important issue facing the world.

11. They will add more women to the administration, ergo more sanity.

12. They will read the riot act to the lobbyists and corporations, especially the NRA.

13. They will make sure that the rich and their corporations pay their fair share of taxes.

14. They will legislate a living wage for every working American, and won’t steal money from social security.

15. They will attack high drug prices, opiods, guns and drug prices and make America a sane country once again.

16. They will undo a lot of the harmful legislation Trump has put in place. (Too long a list for this post).

18. And perhaps best of all, they will eliminate the whole headspace of fear and loathing that most Americans wake up every morning in, wondering what craziness they have to hear about today.

It is often said that opinions are like assholes in that everybody has one. Well this is mine. Like it or lump it.

The only thing I know for sure is that 4 more years of Republican rule will decimate the United States on many levels. You’re already starting to see clear signs of that now in manufacturing, mining and agriculture. And these are just the most visible.

So to throw Donald Trump’s words back at him…'what do you have to lose', but having a democratic government that will work for everyone instead of a fascist regime owned by the rich.

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
