Why Don’t We Trust the Nature of Our Body?

Almost every so-called disease is a toxicity crisis that results from accumulating toxins to the level of intolerance. The body is left with no choice but to find an outlet for these toxins which often may be accompanied by various symptoms such as a headache, a cold, joint pain, a skin rash, bronchitis or other types of infections.

These symptoms indicate that the body is attempting to release itself of harmful toxic substances. It’s the job of the immune system to lower this toxicity to below the level of tolerance. This will differ from person to person, however, the common denominator as all of life, moves in cycles.

One of the most unfortunate side effects of medical intervention during this cycle is that it prevents the natural cycle of disease and healing to be completed. The healing phase that naturally follows a toxicity crisis never even has a chance to occur. If a simple cold is not allowed to take its natural course, the next time you suffer a cold and try to suppress it, it may turn into a chronic problem.

Continued interference with the body’s healing efforts can turn into serious chronic diseases that can be very harmful. A recurring migraine for example, may one day become a mental breakdown; high blood pressure can turn into a heart attack.

So, why don’t we recover our health by trusting and supporting own body’s own healing ability? Indeed, mounting research suggests this "power of the mind," or power of belief, can be a very healing force. Studies into the placebo effect also show that many conventional treatments "work" because of the placebo effect and little else.

Maybe it’s time to revisit this quote:

“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”

Albert Einstein

When you recover your health by trusting and supporting your body’s own healing ability, you may also enjoy an improvement in personal development. You may also witness major improvements in your attitude toward life and your relationships with others.

Worth a try don’t you think?
