Why People Are Questioning Donald Trump’s Sanity

Why People Are Questioning Donald Trump’s Sanity

The Digital Sunday News :For the past 18 months or so I have been featuring anti-Trump posts as part of my blogging stream. The personal reason I do this is to try and understand just how someone like this man could have gotten to be president of the United States. I have to admit that this is uphill work.
The more important reason is to point out to those who may have enabled Trump on his alleged quest to "Make America Great Again" that, IMHO, they have been conned by a high functioning narcissistic psychotic who is getting crazier every day.

“Nobody has more respect
for pussy than me. Trust me.”I have never called Donald Trump president. I never will. What he is and what he wants to become has nothing to do with leadership or honour or even human decency.
Donald Trump is a philosophical traitor to his country. He is a traitor to the principles on which America was founded and has thrived for well over two centuries.
The list of philosophically traitorous acts that lie at his feet is long and quite damning.
They include:
The desire to turn America into a complete racist state.
The denial of affordable health care services to most American citizens.
The ignoring of the rights of women to control their own bodies.
The condemnation of the gay, lesbian and transgender communities.
The deregulation of industries that are destroying the environment.
The complete denial of climate change and the massive reduction in funding to help the world combat it.
The list goes on.
What kind of human being would take all of these positions, especially if they had real power at their command?
What kind of human being would work to isolate and alienate his country from the rest of the world when their job should really be to take the lead in uniting the world?
What kind of human being is so self-obsessed that they would do things like removing restrictions on the importation of ivory which is the cruelest of black market industries?
What Kind Of Human Being Indeed?

The kind of person who would do this is one who is not capable of rational thought. He is instead one whose mind has become so diseased from chronic narcissism that he can no longer tell the difference between doing evil or good things to gain attention.
My feelings of disgust for Donald Trump, have since he has been elected, morphed into a deep sense of pity. I have been watching and watching closely, and, although I am no expert myself, a great number of psychiatric professionals agree that what we are seeing here is the manifestation of a deep narcissistic psychosis.

“| heard the FBI Director tell all those
people that | was not wiretapped by
Obama. So what am | supposed to
do with this tin can and long piece of
string | found in my office?”
In layman's terms, he’s insane, nuts, crackers, off his rocker, not playing with a full deck, etc.
Sane people do not lie chronically. Sane people do not accuse other people of felonious crimes without a single shred of evidence. Sane people do not identify with or admire insane people. Sane people in power do not govern without consensus. Sane people do not solve immigration problems by building physical walls. Sane people do not send soldiers into battle without consulting their intelligence agencies. Sane people do not propose legislation that will do more harm to their country than good, simply because they can. Sane people do not fly into rages because things don’t go their way. Sane people do not promise to clean up a wounded political structure and then build their cabinet with people whose agenda is to further destroy it.
And he may not be only one. This insanity manifested itself long before he ever was elected and yet 61 million people voted for him. They were so gullible and so convinced that their government was fucking up their lives that they were willing to believe an insane person who was promising them all kinds of things that he could never deliver on.
What does that make them? Enablers? Or insane themselves?
The majority of people in America are not insane. The majority of people in America are deeply and profoundly disturbed by Donald Trump’s insanity.
“So my approval rating has dropped
to 37%. Pretty soon, | will be the most
despised president in the history of
America. That's going right into the
‘WIN' column on my resume.”
Even about half of his core of supporters now understand that the man they voted for is not well. And this is what is going to save America from becoming completely consumed by Trump’s insanity.... this ever-growing number of Americans who are making their voices heard by their representatives in Washington.
Add to that, the ever growing number of congresspersons and senators who are listening to their constituents and realizing that the government of the United States doesn’t have to bend to the will of one insane individual, no matter what his title.
This is a potential game changer.
And as they move forward together to block this insanity, the insane person will eventually and inevitably crash and burn. Because insanity on this level cannot be sustained in the face of organized resistance.
Me & Trump

I have never liked Donald Trump. I think that in addition to being insane, he is one of the biggest hypocrites to have ever walked upright. I have always believed the only ideology he supports is the Trump brand. But paradoxically, all he has done since taking office is sabotage that brand. That’s crazy too.
He calls himself a winner but he does not have a single significant win to report and is not even close to one. He bragged that he would wipe out Isis within 30 days and he still does not even have a plan to execute. He said he was going to build a wall along the Mexican border and make Mexico pay for it and about a week ago he asked Congress to approve the $25 billion to pay for its construction. He promised to repeal and replace Obamacare, but his proposal to do that was pulled for lack of support.
What kind of person says all this to a whole nation and then ends up with nothing to show for it? It’s obviously a rhetorical question.

It’s All Up To America Now

If you’re an American of voting age, it's up to you to let your state and national representatives know that you really don’t want someone who is insane running your country.
These people  are starting to listen because they know it’s true and they want to get re-elected next term. There’s nothing like enlightened self- interest to really make things happen in Washington.
The people, meaning you, need to take back your country. Because the guy you elected is pretty much incapable of doing anything on the “Make America Great Again” scale.
If you don’t believe that, then I maintain you are simply not paying enough attention to reality.

Thanks . I think and I hope your prediction is right on the money. It feels like every day the penny drops with a whole bunch of new people, many of whom were his supporters. Funny, I just did that shot on my computer and messed around with it in my preview program. I was really pleased with it myself.

First, Jim, I love your new profile photo, very nice. Second, you raise several excellent points. As noted in your last post on this matter, I neither voted for nor supported the Trump campaign. I did, however, previously recommend giving him the so-called "benefit of the doubt" to govern unless or until he proved otherwise unworthy. Like I stated before, that time is now well past and, unfortunately, so early on in a new presidency. Next, I'm going out on a limb to make a bold prediction (remember folks, you heard it here first): In 2018 or earlier, Mr. Trump will be forced to resign as POTUS -- similar to the fate of Richard Nixon. Ironically -- and ominously -- both presidencies share similarities which are detrimental to the American people and the world (as you astutely articulate). His resignation will be due to overwhelming pressure from the public, the GOP and Dems based on evidence that has not yet been made public per the three ongoing investigations (FBI, Senate, House) into his campaign's alleged ties to Russia and Putin's alleged attempts to unduly influence the US election.

You don't even need to look at his policies to come to these conclusions. Forget the last 2 years and look at the last 40. Under investigation and indictment for housing discrimination, publicly calling for the execution of black teens for a crime they didn't commit and convinced to this day he was right despite some else being convicted, buying his way into tv and movie appearances. If nothing else he has hired a master PR firm to manage his personal brand to portray an image different than who he is at his core and what his actions show.

Depends on who you're talking to. There are still a lot of people out there who see the sun shining out his butt crack.
