Why Women Should Rule The World

We have come a long way as a civilization, but we will have completed out journey though this phase when we finally realize that women should run everything.

In my life I am surrounded by strong women. And there is really not any instance I can think of when I would not defer to their opinions.

Now you could say that makes me some sort of wimp, but then you would be playing right into the stereotype point of view that men are stronger, more decisive and more fearless than women.

This is where you would be, IMHO, dead wrong.

Because this is not true and it never really has been. Most men are physically stronger than most women, but men are also controlled, to a great extent, by their testosterone and think about life as a contest that they have to win.

This causes them to make all kinds of stupid decisions…the kinds of decisions, I would argue, that have gotten the world into the huge pickle it's in today.

Woman, on the other hand, see the world in more or less the same way, but are generally much smarter about how they go about crafting their victories.

Women have a more lateral view of the world. Most believe that victory is something that should be shared. And this is because they don’t see other women as the enemy, but see all women as a force that can defeat anything and makes things better for everyone.

Smart women are much more capable of having a civilized discussion about differences and finding common ground. Whereas men tend to probe for weaknesses and then figure out how to attack.

When you contrast the two approaches, the woman’s approach seems much more enlightened, thoughtful and likely to produce a better overall outcome.

The man’s approach seems much more primitive, messy and destructive with no possibility at all for a collectively positive outcome.

And the thing is that as we see the growing trend towards authoritarianism in the world, you can’t help but notice that these movements are all being left by men who are obsessed with winning, and petty revenge, and don’t really have any idea of how delicate a balance needs to be maintained to keep the world on an even keel.

Just look around and tell me that’s not true.

If women ran the world, I strongly maintain that there would be markedly less of this ego driven bullshit. There would be more universally beneficial ideas in practice. And there would be a much better chance for the world to avoid turning into the bleak post-apocalyptic wasteland it is showing signs of becoming today.

Just something to think about on a beautiful Sunday here on the quiet side of the lake.
