The Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for day to day GMP-Wholesale(WHS) activities and assisting the pharmacy staff with administrative duties
Section A - Specific Responsibilities
- Prescription hard copy filing and confirming files are up to date and complete
- Patient deliveries and patient scheduling documentation
- Invoice reconciliation
- Managing of incoming and outgoing faxes, and interoffice and postal mail
- Preparing waybills for parcel distribution
- Day to Day GMP-Wholesale activities (Processing and filling of orders)
- Ensuring First Expired-First Out (FEFO) when filling WHS orders
- Providing additional support in filling prescriptions
- Obtaining proof of delivery from carriers, and tracking and managing documentation of courier shipments
Section B - General Responsibilities
- Computer data entry
- Ordering of WHS products and working with suppliers
- Shipping and receiving duties
- Photocopying pharmacy documents
- Other duties as assigned
Section C - Competencies
- College Degree
- At least 2 years in a retail pharmacy setting
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Experience working with MS Office Suite
- Highly organized
- Desire to work with patients and in health care
- Adept at working in a fastpaced environment and adapting well to change
- Exemplary customer service and administrative skills
- This position requires a significant degree of taking direction quickly, selfstarting and independence

Our Base Pay Range for this position
$35,500 - $59,100
