Primary Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned
  • Coordinate special projects as directed by the Community Manager
  • Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors
  • Responsible for 24hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled
  • Carry pager/cell phone as required for oncall maintenance
  • Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary
  • Implement preventative maintenance measures
  • Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
  • Complete grounds work as directed by Community Manager which may include picking up trash, sweeping curb and dumpster areas and maintaining landscaping beds and other areas
  • Responsible for alerting the Community Manager of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur
  • Maintain a professional courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees
  • Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines
  • Follow established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Handbook

Education & Experience:


  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Must have valid driver's license and provide driver's abstract
  • Knowledge of modular home maintenance an asset
  • Able to work in confined spaces (under units for winterization and plumbing issues)
  • Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, lawn mowers, and small hand tools.
  • EPA certification required.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize with effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Strongly demonstrates the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and resourceful selfstarter with a positive, cando attitude.
