Red Deer Village (hiring immediately)_

Primarily responsible for maintaining the physical asset of the property and day-to-day operations under the direction of the Community Manager.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned
Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors
Responsible for 24hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled
Carry pager/cell phone as required for oncall maintenance
Perform minor building, plumbing, electrical, painting, and some carpentry repairs as necessary
Complete grounds work as directed by Community Manager which may include picking up trash, sweeping curb and dumpster areas and maintaining landscaping beds and snow removal
Responsible for alerting the Community Manager of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur
Maintain a professional courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees
Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, and Federal guidelines
Follow established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Handbook

Education & Experience

High school diploma/GED required.
Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted.
Must have valid driver's license and provide driver's abstract.
Knowledge of modular home maintenance an asset.
Able to work in confined spaces (under units for winterization and plumbing issues)
Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, lawn mowers, and small hand tools.
Must be proficient in English, both spoken and written.
Strongly demonstrates ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Background check required.
