BARTENDER.
Under the general direction of the Director of Food and Beverage, this position is responsible for mixing and serving of beverages, while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees and guests.
Above all else, must be aligned with, and promote, Shorelines Casinos culture and philosophy of creating a great, memorable experience for our guests and colleagues.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Exceeds guest expectations by providing outstanding customer service
- Helps create an engaged work environment by choosing positivity and fun, recognizing excellent peer performance, and by caring about and supporting our colleagues every day
- Informs guests of any daily specials
- Takes guests orders and makes recommendations
- Prepares beverages
- Serves the guests and checks to ensure satisfaction
- Resolves guests issues or asks for management assistance if required
- Presents bills upon request and taking payments
- Cleans tables or counters, removes glasses and restocks bar if required
- Covers other bartenders sections if required
- Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed.

- Current internal food & beverage employee
- Peoplefocused and committed to service excellence
- Proactive and solutionoriented with a drive to succeed
- High School Diploma; Post-Secondary hospitality or hotel education an asset
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
- Bartending and serving experience preferred
- Customer service experience
- Smart Serve Certificate
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
- Providing Great Experiences and Memories to all guests, both external and internal
