Contessa's Elite Master Hairstylist finalist, Janet Jackson is the Creative Director and Owner of Jou Jou Hair Studio. Janet Jackson brings over 15 years of industry experience to the table.

Her numerous appearances on TV and having styled the locks of notable A-listers such as Rita Ora, Iman, Winnie Harlow, Keshia Chante and countless others; Janet is no "amateur" when it comes to providing the highest quality hair services for even the most particular clients.

Overview - Hair Assistant

If you're interested in working for a professional, high end salon; that prides itself in elite service, talent and education, then JouJou Hair Studio may be the right fit for you We are seeking Apprentices/Salon Assistants to join our team of dedicated, highly skilled beauty experts.

As an assistant you are responsible for keeping the studio clean & assisting our experienced hairstylists with clients - tasks include:

Work at least one Sunday a month
Greeting our clients
Braiding, knowledge of Hair Extensions are beneficial
Preparing clients for services (shampooing & blow drying, etc.)
Maintaining a clean/COVID safe work environment
