POSITION OVERVIEW
Seeking vehicle inspectors in various regions of Ontario, including SW Ontario (London, KW, Guelph, Windsor, & area)

The Vehicle Capture Rep is responsible to generate condition reports for auction vehicles as designated by the Territory Account Manager and/or inside sales team.

You will travel to dealerships, as assigned, start vehicles and complete a detailed breakdown of condition. They will pay close attention to details when creating the condition report. This role is in support of the business development and sales team.

You will interact with customers and their employees, as well as with various departments and team members within our company.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

Work with territory managers and fill your weekly schedule as required.
Visit dealerships to complete vehicle inspection report and load vehicles to platform, in a timely manner.
Build, maintain and foster customer relationships to secure customer loyalty and increase volume of vehicle inspections.
Assume direct responsibility for dealer consignment inspections meeting specified targets and parameters.
Perform all vehicle inspections in your geographic location with a major attention to detail in order to provide a high quality of information to buying customers and minimize errors, cancelled sales and arbitration.
Provide customer training as required for customers.
Keep up to date with information about product and service innovations, changing needs of customers, market conditions and competitors and provide feedback for business strategy accordingly.
Travel to conduct vehicle inspections at a variety of locations including dealerships, physical auctions, off site locations and consumer residences.
Provide feedback and daily log to your manager and team.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have car and a clean drivers ́ abstract
Valid driver's license and ability to drive manual or automatic
Must be at least 21 years of age
Automotive experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in the automotive field (body, paint and mechanical repair knowledge) with customer service background.
Problem solving aptitude to meet challenges with resourcefulness and innovative approaches.
Proven success to work independently with mínimal supervision while working in a team environment.
Good manual dexterity to work around vehicles and with mobile devices
Vision abilities required include close, distance, colour and depth perception.
Excellent reading / writing skills as well as the ability to make sound decisions and exercise common sense and critical thinking skills
Must be willing to work in various weather conditions and be a team player
Able to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
Ability to bend, squat, stoop, or kneel, stand for a prolonged period with the ability to lift.
Flexible availability including weekends (primarily Saturdays) and ability to be available between the hours of 8am and 6pm with occasional evenings as required by the needs of the business.
Reliability, punctuality and dependability are essential
Possibility of carrying out duties outside of designated region based on capture request
Incredible Customer Service skills with the ability to understand and exceed customer needs and expectations.
Communication (verbal and written) and relationship building skills
