2023 Fall, P & CB - Operations Intern, Avion Rewards (co-op)


What is the opportunity?

We are looking to hire an Operations Intern to work with us to build the business and grow Avion Rewards.

This role involves the building and continuous improvement of the Avion Rewards Operations team including responding to complex member inquires requiring further analysis (e.g. missing cash back and helping members unable to connect their bank account), member audits, analyzing our partner's performance, and supporting on special projects.


What will you do?

  • Investigate and respond to Avion Rewards member support inquiries with the goal of providing superior member support through timely responses and resolutions
  • Monitor, track & respond to incoming member inquiries leveraging innovative technology solutions such as Intercom
  • Prioritize & triage based on severity and sensitivity of open issues with the ability to escalate where needed
  • Support key business processes and operations (i.e., payments, banner rules, merchant onboarding, etc.)
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of business challenges faced by partners and users on the platform in order to recommend data driven partner success strategies and accurately assist members with their inquiries
  • Assist in critical & time sensitive offer implementations for Avion Rewards by working with multiple teams in the organization
  • Deliver performance results for key Avion Rewards campaigns both in metrics and in storytelling
  • Advocate for partner success on Avion Rewards. Focus on lengthening the partner life cycle and identifying opportunities to increase value for partners and members

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Hold strong interests in customer support and/or operations related role
  • Ability to clearly communicate in English, both oral and written
  • Selfstarter, thinker in action, a planner and a doer; always a team player
  • Ability to collaborate crossfunctionally
  • Excellent listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to change

Nice-to-have

  • Entrepreneurial attitude
  • Experience and success in both small startup environments and large organizations
  • Experience working or holding strong interests within the cash back rebates industry
  • Experience with data comparison
  • Project Management experience
  • Bonus if you've worked with Tableau and Salesforce
