About This Leadership Role:
HTS has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Director of Organizational Culture, Equity and Belonging to join our team.
Reporting to the Head of School, the Executive Director supports HTS's strategic priority of creating a diverse and inclusive community that fosters a sense of belonging. They will work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team and other School Leaders to support the school's goal of preparing students to live in a pluralistic society. This person will support teachers in embedding age-and-stage appropriate learning material into their work to help students develop skills such as: empathy, active listening, open-mindedness, critical thinking and question-posing for the purpose of building understanding. They will develop professional learning experiences for all members of our community that cultivates a commitment and understanding of equity and creates an inclusive culture at HTS. This person collaborates with all members of our community, strengthening understanding, building capacity and fostering compassionate, respectful relationships with self and others.
They must reflect and communicate HTS's core values, such as a commitment to inclusion and belonging, deep curiosity and innovative spirit, values technology as a tool to enhance learning, and a strong commitment to a learner-centered education and work environment.
