- **Accountabilities**:Having a well maintained, orderly and properly stocked warehouse allows us to locate parts quickly so our customers can get their parts faster plus it allows for better inventory control and cost management.

Our Shippers are key contributors to our success as they are responsible for accurately receiving, storing, and shipping parts and maintaining a clean and orderly parts warehouse which also includes the following:


  • To assist customers with their parts orders
  • Receive product from suppliers and customers using equipment provided
  • Place parts in the appropriate bin for storage, and correct computer records to ensure our inventory is accurate.
  • Accurately track incoming and outgoing shipments, noting shipper and destination with correct labeling to ensure timely delivery
  • Assist in preparing of vendor part returns to ensure documentation is complete
  • Assist in preparing core returns to proper vendors. Package, inspect, and ensure completion of necessary documentation
  • Assist in the physical inventory count of the parts department
  • Accurately fill and prepare part orders for delivery based on requests from the parts sales staff
  • Acquire authorization and/or purchase orders as needed for billing purposes
  • Assisting other staff in the department as needed
  • Able to learn the heavyduty truck/trailer maintenance/repair business and mechanical terminology.
  • Able to interpret and work from oral and written instructions.
  • Able to work with a variety of customers in a courteous and cooperative manner.
  • Able to operate a fork lift.
  • Able to maneuver items up to 100lbs and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Must be able to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Must conduct his / her self in a professional manner.
  • Forklift Certified
  • CDK accounting software experience.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • The ability to communicate and work with suppliers.
  • Strive for respect and teamwork within all departments.
  • Able to utilize manufacturer and supplier websites.

Compensation:


  • Salary Negotiable: Based on Experience

Shift Schedule:


  • Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
    plus participation in an Saturday rotation will be required.
