Bollore Logistics is looking to add a full time
Air Import Agent to its growing team in Mississauga, ON We are looking for a dynamic individual to kick start their career in logistics.


Responsibilities:


To coordinate the activities of the air import department to ensure a quick, courteous and efficient customer experience while maintaining a competitive cost structure for both Bolloré Logistics and our clients.

Keep clients informed of shipment status.


Responsibilities:


  • Receive orders from clients and analyze their needs.
  • Communicate with the different stakeholders to offer superior customer service.
  • Suggest innovative solutions to clients.
  • Communicate, in a timely manner, the relevant information and issues to the immediate supervisor.
  • Open files for shipment and enter data in the operational system according to the ISO standards of the company.
  • Organize the pickup and delivery of freight according to the booking.
  • Coordinate, and book air cargo space, receive bills of lading and follow up with Bolloré Group network to ensure that freight is shipped on the planned date.
  • Prepare and transmit arrival notices and appropriate documents with proof of insurance to clients and customs brokers within the specified deadline.
  • Update shipment files and keep clients and Bolloré Group network updated.
  • Invoice clients, ensuring that all charges for services rendered are included and all costs are applied according to the agreement
  • All other duties as requested by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements:


  • 23 years of relevant postsecondary education or experience.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service to clients
  • Excellent organization skills and be a proactive problem solver
  • Ability to manage own time and priorities workload to meet internal and external expectations
  • Must be proficient in all areas of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good interpersonal and teamworking skills required
