- Lead the ITB management strategy for PAL and liaise with executive management across the organization to execute this strategy.
- Manage the preparation of PAL's contribution to VPs and ITB Plans where PAL is a strategic supplier (Tier 1 or Tier 2) on major Canadian Government capital projects where VP/ITBs obligations apply.
- Lead the preparation of VPs and ITB Plans for PAL proposals as the Prime Contractor on major Canadian Government capital projects where VP/ITBs apply.
- Manage, track and report on the status of PAL's ITB account with ISED.
- Build relationships with ISED, Exchange Income Corporation (EIC) and PAL stakeholders, ITB stakeholders to manage, drive and secure ITBs for PAL.
- Integrate with business functions and stakeholders to ensure early decision making includes industrial benefits as a key consideration.
- Actively participate in ITB opportunity identification and steer opportunities through evaluation, approval, execution, and financial stages to meet PAL's Direct, Indirect (including Small-to-Medium Enterprises/Businesses (SMEs/SMBs), Innovation/Research & Development, Skills Training & Development and Export ITB obligations.
- Establish and improve processes, policies, metrics, and chair meetings to review and manage new and existing ITB transactions.
- Train and coach internal stakeholders on ITB policies and provide instructions to suppliers to fulfill ITB obligations.
- Build reports that efficiently communicate overall status of PAL's ITB strategies, projects, transactions, and credit status for PAL, EIC, ISED and Prime Contractors.
- Create, review & negotiate contractual documents in collaboration with financial, supply-chain and legal subject matter experts.
- Build positive relationships with all stakeholders across the organization.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Sciences, business administration or similar field. Equivalency would be granted for significant ITB experience.
- 2-5 years experience supply chain procurement and logistics.
- Project management certification.
- Working knowledge of VP/ITB and SR&ED policies.
- Experience in aerospace an asset.
- Expertise in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong experience working with leaders and executive managers.
- Detail oriented individual that can meet regular deadlines and can manage time efficiently.
- Exceptional organization skills.
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Reporting to the Vice President, Supply Chain & Logistics, PAL Aerospace is currently seeking a Manager, Industrial & Technological Benefits, who will build viable value propositions (VPs) and maximize industrial and technological benefits (ITBs) by building meaningful internal and external industry relationships, establishing and improving standards and processes for PAL and for Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) Canada, identifying opportunities driving execution and administering/closing transactions with relevant stakeholders.
