Responsibilities:


  • Proactive communications with customer base and qualified leads
  • Log correspondences within CRM system and see ticket through to completion
  • Endorse CMP Promotions and New Product launches
  • Generate sales with a focus on reestablishing connections with dormant accounts
  • Looks for opportunities to upsell on each order taken
  • Learn and maintain high level of the company's Product Knowledge
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to follow up on potential leads
  • Align customer with appropriate CMP Business Partner
  • Develop relationships with Big Box stores in order to support B2C sales
  • Promote safe work practices as outlined in Provincial regulations and follow guidelines outlined by human resources whether in office, plant or warehouse and company and departmental policy and procedures
  • Participate in the development of process improvement and written procedures and share findings with internal stakeholders
  • Cross train with Customer Service team to ensure coverage and participate in meetings and in jobrelated continuing education courses
  • Prepare personal annual goals and objectives
  • Contribute to the team spirit of cooperative
  • General Sales and office administration duties and additional duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • 13 years experience in a similar role
  • 13 years experience order entry experience
  • 13 years experience using CRM Software
  • 13 years experience in B2C sales, upselling and making multiple calls per day, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales
  • 13 years experience developing new leads and reaching out to inactive accounts
  • Postsecondary diploma
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems, Infor Visual and exposure to Power BI for reporting
  • Strong problem solving, organizational and multitask skills, prospecting and closing skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Independent, motivated selfstarter who will enhance the customer experience
  • Driven to help meet and exceed sales targets and ability to build relationships and connect end users to our vendor partners

Hours

  • 8:00 m 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Will be a hybrid role upon completion of training and probationary period
