Position Overview & Responsibilities
This position reports directly to the Labour and Logistics Manager


Labour & Logistics Scheduling

  • Responsible for communicating and confirming changes to event personnel
  • Maintain contractor records and databases
  • Enter new events into the ongoing schedule
  • Ensure proper scheduling of personnel and transportation for confirmed events
  • Arrange any required travel requirements, or per diem requests for assigned crew members
  • Focus on revenue maximization & cost control, in accordance with company operating procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Employee & Freelance Administration:


  • Provide direct supervision of freelancers, including; managing personal information and qualifications, timekeeping, approval of invoices and performance appraisals
  • Promote motivation, communication, teamwork and positive attitude between all employees.
  • Build relationships and negotiate rates for outside labour
  • Onboard new contractors following established procedures

Skills

  • Ability to manage multiple requests and rapidly changing priorities in a fastpaced environment
  • Very strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Solid written and oral communication skills
  • Selfmotivated, able to work both in teams and independently with mínimal supervision
  • Experience with Lasso scheduling software considered an asset
  • Experience in audiovisual production considered an asset

Please note:

Sometimes, this position requires a flexible work schedule; sometimes you may be asked to work nights, weekends, and holidays.


Salary:
$44,000.00-$47,000.00 per year
