We are currently searching for a Campus Recruitment Specialist to join our Campus and Early Careers Team for an 18 month period.
Reporting to our Manager, Global Campus and Early Career Programs, you will be the face of McCain for our recruitment of top students for all co-op, internship and new grad roles across North America.
You will work closely with the Manager to ensure the needs of the business are met and our students have an exceptional experience at McCain.
As a Campus Recruitment Specialist, you will:
- Manage full cycle recruitment for student hires
- Act as the primary point of contact for day to day campus recruitment matters/activities for both hiring managers and students
- Coordinate and manage the student experience including but not limited to: organizing and facilitating student orientation, onboarding, facilitating hiring manager training and hosting student events
- Assist with developing and maintaining strong relationships with target postsecondary institutions (career centers, faculty, student associations/clubs)
- Assist with developing and launching new initiatives company wide
- Various other campus programs/recruitment related tasks as assigned
As a Campus Recruitment Specialist, you will have:
- Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of relevant campus recruitment experience
- Familiarity with recruiting on both a national and international level
- A solid understanding of campus recruitment processes, recruitment cycles and timelines
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including business leaders, postsecondary contacts, students and the internal HR/TA teams
- Experience with coordinating and facilitating recruitment events, open houses, targeted information sessions and working with various career centers
- Experience attracting and retaining top student talent
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Exceptional time management, planning and organizational skills are a must
